I have been teaching in the community both privately as well in the school system for over twenty years. I graduated from the Music Diploma Program at Red Deer College. I hold two degrees; one in music and one in education.
I enjoy composing, recording & performing. I am even a part of the chorus for Calgary Opera.
I have been teaching both contemporary and classical Voice and Piano since 2008.
As a music teacher, I strive to build a solid foundation of skills and techniques, that students can then use to improve and enhance their musical abilities, while providing a fun and positive atmosphere!
I began learning violin at the age of four and studied the Suzuki Method. As well, I have performed with the EYO for 6 years. Currently, I am working towards my ARCT teacher certification. Whether you prefer classical, fiddle, contemporary, or jazz, I offer lessons tailored to each student’s goals and interests.
Music is my passion and it fuels my enthusiasm for teaching and learning new things. My background is in classical piano but I play several instruments including guitar and ukulele. After I graduating from the Music Diploma program at RDC, I have taught private lessons in the Red Deer area for the past ten years.
I found a love of music at a young age. I was privileged to have graduated from the Red Deer College Music Diploma Program with a major in guitar. Sharing the gift of music is magical and I believe it should be an enjoyable experience. I have been working in the music industry for over 22 years and still love it.
Music ignites my soul, especially the cello! I’ve attended the Advanced Performance Program at the Mount Royal Conservatory, being mentored by world class instructors & artists. Currently I'm enjoying performing in chamber groups, orchestras & as a soloist. I also immensely enjoy teaching & hope to inspire my students!
Music has been a part of my life since the early days. I got to learn and experience multiple instruments including bass, percussions and synths control at a young age. I also developed a taste for music production. From adults to beginners, it is never too late to pick up an instrument and make some NOISE.
